Our founder started NYC Teens for Animals when she was 12 years old as a way to inspire people to volunteer for rescues. As a volunteer herself, she wanted to post the animals she worked with through photography and videos to help them find homes and to raise money for their veterinary care.

NYC Teens for Animals Inc. is now a small, foster-based non-profit organization. Her goals remain the same: to get homeless animals adopted into loving families.

We raise money for vet care, which is our first priority, and supplies. We also encourage people to learn about TNR (Trap, Neuter, Release) to ensure that the community cats lead healthier lives and to curb overpopulation.
